Update 16th February: This plugin in not compatible with WordPress 3.3.1. It will work with WP ecommerce 3.8 if you still use WordPress 3.2.

- add tinymce editor to the additional descriptions field.

There are though a few little tweaks and mods that can be done to the plugin to get wp-ecommerce to be even more powerful than it already is. some of my sites have required me to do a few hacks to the code to get it to do just what I want.
Adding a editor to the additional description option in wp ecommerce 3.8
One of those mods have been to install a tinymce (what you get is what you see) editor to allow me to easily format and text that I put in the additonal description field.
The additional description field of wp-ecommerce is different to the main description in that as it comes the additonal description doe not allow any html formating to take place. this can be a little disappointing for some online shop owners – I know I was a bit disappointed when the html formatting option was dropped when wp-ecommerce wnet frm 3.7 to 3.8.

This led to me rolling up my sleeves and hunting around the code to allow html formatting to take placeagain. not only that but I also decided to call the tinymce editor to make it even easier to format in the additional description field.

Please be aware that this has only been tested in web sites that use wp-ecommerce 3.8 as a stand alone plugin – it may not work if you have a specifically made or custom wp-ecommerce theme as they tend to call their own special adapted files.
