This WordPress plugin modification:
- + adds images to related posts produced by Microkid Related Posts.
- + set a maximum number of related posts to return based on random sort.
- + has a basic css file to display related posts as a grid.

Some of them are better than others in the way that they choose which posts to display. Obviously the only way to get truly relevant results is if you choose your posts manually. This is what is so good about the Microkid related posts plugin. This version of the plugin has been modified to do two things to help you get your web visitors clicking around on site.
Thumbnails – this version has been adapted to show the featured image of a post as a thumbnail. The modified file has been well noted to allow you to quickly and easily change the thumbnail size before uploading the file. I’ve also included a skeleton css file which presents the related posts links as a grid view – you just need to change the css for your own styling.
Maximum posts – this is useful because of the reciprocal linking feature of the plugin. To get the maximum benefit of the plugin you really need to show no more than 6 links. This modified file has been change to allow you to set up a maximum number of links to display at the end of a post.
