We’re currently rolling out a series of workshops and training session on WordPress. The first few will be held here in sunny Abergavenny but I’m currently researching locations in both Cardiff and Bristol in order to run some there.
Keep an eye open in our events section for some upcomming smeinar and I’ll shortly be launching a twitter channel for people to follow where I shall release the details of all our seminars.
We’re currently putting together a short evening course that will last for 6 weeks and cover the main aspects of running a WordPress powered eCommerce store. This course will be run at a central location in Bristol and will last about 3 hours one night a week. Details will be published in the next month as I hope to get it up and running by mid September.
Some of you may have noticed that our twitter newspaper has changed over the last few days. I’m finally getting to grips with the way that it works and have started to define useful sources to include. I’ll carry on making minor adjustments to improve the paper a bit more. It’s well worth subscribing too.
A bit of news aimed specifically at the Christian web master is that I’m working with Kevin on developing a premium church WordPress template with a lot of inbuilt church related functions such as sermon delivery using custom post types and church community pages. Hopefully we’ll have it launched within the next couple of months or so.
Still on the Christian specific news I am putting together a churches and WordPress seminar that will look at specific issues of church requirements for their WordPress powered web site. If you think the day would be of use and have any particular subject you would like to see included in the workshop then drop in a comment below.
