Timothy Grants

Ypraise are pleased to announce a range of small grants and bursaries for young people to help them in their training to be church leaders of tomorrow. These grants were set up to help us meet our obligations of 1 Timothy 4:12.

Please be aware we are unable to offer support to children of the organisers of the course or seminar.

Small grants: these are grants worth £300.00 each to cover the cost of the course, travel and accommodation. They are aimed at short courses, seminars and workshops. In the past we have covered the cost of public speaking courses, instrument master-classes, worship conferences and others. These grants do not need to be used specifically for a ‘Christian’ course as long as they will help develop the leadership skills of the recipient. We currently have 15 small grants available each year. The grants are available for young people between the ages of 13 and 22.  This years grant applications are now closed and we will be taking applications for 2011 from October 2010.

Applications: We will shortly have our online application forms available. Applications for a small grant needs to come from the leader of  a recognised or affiliated Christian church in the UK. As an organisation Ypraise believes in the diversity of ways to worship God and do not discriminate on a denominational or theological basis.

Please note that due to changing priorities of Ypraise I have now discontinued the full time grants for students. With current legislation seeking to marginalise Christians in society i have chosen to use the money I had set aside for the bursary to use as funds to help promote and organise activities that highlights bad legislation in the UK.
